Costco in Calgary currently has quite a bit of stock on 60W solar kits. They include extension wire, small inverter, solar controller, other accessories , and the solar panel. My son bought two.

Canadian Tire sells the 40 watt, same equipment. Often on sale for either $124.99 or $99.99.

Can you get the COSTCO stock number. Down here they will do a search and see if any local stores has it in stock.

If the COSTCO number isn't on the box, it's on the receipt.

I bought the 40 W panel from Canadian Tire. In fact, I bought two, one for me, and one for my son. They came with the same controller as this panel, but not much else. The controller has just enough capacity for two 60W cells.

My son wants to run a 700W microwave, for a like 10 minuets a day. I told him that his 40W panel would not provide enough power, but two 60W panels might. So I bought his unopened 40W cell, for $100, and he purchased two of the 60W panels. Now we both have a matched set, which I plan to connect with a piano hinge and a couple of latches to make a portable array that has the solar cells protected on the inside, when folded. Mine will be 80W, his 120W.

I checked both costo.ca and costco.com sites. The panel shown does not appear on either.

I checked with Costco customer service and they don't show that number or any Coleman Solar kits either.

Maybe the P.O. can post the Coleman model number as well.

I ask because this way of approaching a problem is very much the way my own Dearly Beloved PE Husband would:

Why try to come up with a way to go without that ten minutes a day of microwave use when so much time, planning, and effort can be spent making it happen? Not to mention $350.00...which expenditure I'm quick to add is perfectly reasonable, mindful as we wives tend to be that there are worse ways to spend the Entertainment Budget!

I know in my case, I often try to do things just to prove to myself and others I can, not because there is any real necessity

I tried all of the numbers every way I could and the only thing that showed up was this post.

Thanks for offering but I will pass. I like buying from COSTCO because of the return policy, that would sorta be lost if it didn't do what I expected. But I'll keep my eyes open down here.

I don't know how Costco runs their online stuff, but some businesses don't list everything on their website. Might be worth a visit to a store with pictures and specs in hand.

Also, if you look at the first picture in post # 10, it shows being shipped from Sunforce, whose panels I found on Costco sites.

I was wondering the physical dimensions of these modules? The 60w at Costco. Do you happen to have one open you could please post up measurements? They look squarish in the picture provided. Our closest costco is 450 Klm away!

Appreciate the offer Gene. Probably the answer is no I don't need at 60w but I prefer the style of panel much better (the costco one). Not sure if HF ships to canada but this is mainly why I'm interested in these costco panels. Shipping to Can from USA can be /usually is ridiculous.
