Scamp Cushions Needed

I've been looking for a complete set of cushions for my Scamp for some time. I'm in central New York State. Anybody??

Advice: Order the foam sizes you need on the internet. Lots of outlets will ship what you need. Density: Soft-Medium or Firm
Making covers is not at all difficult. Simple Way:Cover circumference should be smaller than foam, cover foam in plastic sheet and pull the cover over the foam with the help of a 2nd person. Close the ends by hand stitching the fabric with a curved upholestry needle and strong thread.( I use kite string for the thread.)

For future reference, and for others, you can of course order the cushions from Scamp (with or without the foam).. but it ain't cheap.

I know, Gordon. Cushions and shipping to me around a thousand! That's why I'm looking here.

Sandy, if I didn't have cushions I would find a fabric store that sells foam. here in Rochester we have Howards Fabric and foam, but I bet there is a similar place in the Cuse. I'd make patterns out of paper, and draw the footprints on them. And then find someone with a bandsaw. It cuts foam like butter. As for the covers, Scamps prices aren't bad, if you can stand the colors. Shipping on the covers would be reasonable, its the bulkiness of the foam that is a problem. Otherwise, they aren't hard to make.

Take Care,
Steve

A band saw is probably overkill. An electric kitchen carving knife is all you need. In fact, that was exactly what the pros at a large upholsterer's supply warehouse in Phoenix used to cut some foam I bought.

That's a consideration, but still hoping someone is selling or giving to help keep cost down.
