Glad to hear you got your money back. I had a friend many years ago, that is a sharp guy, purchase a Jesse James motorcycle for $27,000 over the internet. Had a friend go look at it, all verified, he sent the check, afraid he would lose the bike. The problem was, this knucklehead
sold the bike 5 times. He went to jail( 2 years), my friend never received any money back.
I guess the moral is- anyone can be scammed if it's something they want, bad enough. I had another friend that claimed he could never be scammed, because he had no greed-and greed is often the prize dangled by the con artist. But he was duped by a "Swaddled Infant" con (look it up). It is based on peoples sympathy and he got away cheap at only $60.
