Hi Jim - is it NEW or NEW TO YOU?
There are forms on the DMV website - you will have to pay Use Tax (same rate as Sales Tax) when you bring it in.
You have, I believe, [b]
10 DAYS from when it first rolls into the State to get it registered. Else there is a stiff late fee.
You will need to have a
VIN verification. It can be done AT the DMV - take it with you when you register it, and have the clerk to the verification. (Mine didn't do it, and my "application" got bounced back - i ended up going to the local police in our small town and they did it for free).
Check with your Ins company - especially if new - you probably want comp and collision on a new rig
Depending on size you can get "permanent" trailer plates.
Use the DMV appointment system, it DOES work.
Then, GO CAMPING!!!!!!!!!!!!
