12v wiring question

Hello all,

I have a WFCO 8945 converter / distribution panel. I'm trying to figure out how to wire in the 12v wire pairs.

See the picture of my panel below. The battery wires (black and red) are wired in as described in the the manual. I measured the correct voltage across those terminals both when the converter is operating and when the converter is off.

The terminals on the right, are for one side of each 12v circuit.

I measured the voltage between the 12v terminals on the right and point A ==> 12v. Between the 12v terminals on the right and point B ==> 0v.

One wire should go into the 12v terminals on the right, but I can't figure out where to hook in the other wire for each of these circuits.

Ideas?

To Ground? Aren't these systems wired with a hot side and a ground side?

Is there a ground bar somewhere?

Something that looks like this picture (most likely smaller) and is connected to ground.

Follow the negative wire, there should be a ground bar pictured above for all your negative connections.

Jim, Sherman,

In my panel, there is a 120V side , and an 12vDC side. The 120v side has a ground bar (green) and another bar ( white).

The 12v side does not have such a bar.

Anyone with a WFCO unit have an answer?

When I did one there was a negative 12v buss connection. Try calling Randy @ Best Converter, he is the expert, 888-828-1893
