7 Pin Connector on Scamp
Does the vehicle wiring diagram provided by Scamp depict a wiring configuration that is unique to a Scamp, or is this a standard travel trailer configuration? (I'm asking about the colored wires assigned to certain functions.)
Thanks!

In your title heading you wrote 17 Pin connector, but I will assume that to be a typo. Anyway, the standard wiring configuration for a regular trailer 7 Pin connector is shown below.

Thanks for the correction on the number of pins.
The color coding appears to be correct according to the diagram Scamp supplied me. The orientation with respect to the connector itself is different, i.e. the colors appear in different positions.

When I compare the diagram you included in your reply to the one Scamp gave me, it just appears that one diagram shows the paired connectors looking at it from another side of the connector.
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I'm just to the point of getting my TV ready to pick up the Scamp in a few weeks, and I don't want to make a mistake.

Scamp 7 pin
Bill, I shared your concern. I provided the shop that installed my hitch and brake controller the diagram that Scamp has on it's web site. Even tho I don't have my Scamp yet, I do have a tester that confirms the wiring does what it is supposed to ie, L turn, R turn, stop, running, etc.
As long as Scamp does the same pattern we should be ok!
When do you PU?

In case you might get a trailer without brakes and without a battery, you would only need a 4 pin connector. Or, with brakes, a 6 pin.

Scamp, like all trailer manufacturers, follows the industry standard for wiring the 7-pin connector. If they didn't, then their trailer wiring would not work with Fords, Chevys, Toyotas, etc., which come from the factory with a towing package.

I pick up mid-March and hoping for a nice snow/ice free day!
Thanks to all for alleviating my concerns about this.

You have the correct one.
There are two 7 flat pin color configurations and in the past both Casita and Scamp have published the incorrect one
I found this out when replacing the cable on my 1999 Casita
They're called "Traditional and RV Standard". See them here

Scroll down a little and you'll find a nice color picture
