1992 Allegro bay 12v wiring

First time motorhome owner.... I thought I picked a good rig, but I'm afraid I have some 12v issues. With the rig is running, plugged in, or using the generator, it doesn't charge the batteries. I'm not sure how to test a solenoid but I would think that would be the first place to start. The last owner installed an Inteli-power PD9245c, but it's not working, and I think it's garbage now. I took it out of the rig, hooked it up to a 12v battery, plugged it in and added a load, and it never took over charging the battery. Frustrated... Last thing I need is to have to buy more batteries.

Kevin, you have landed on a forum devoted to all-molded fiberglass towables ("egg" trailers). You might get more information on a general RV forum.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page in the box "Other SocialKnowledge Communities" and click on "RV & Travel Trailer", the first in the list is iRV2. You could try your question there.

That said, there are plenty of folks here with lots of general RV experience, so you can certainly monitor and see who chimes in.
