Electric cable

I watch for electric cable. Do you think is a good idea to bye extension cord rater than real electric cable. The price is really cheper. For exemple, on Amazon, extention cord 12-3 25' is 19$. Wire, 20' 12-2 awg 30$.

Do you have any advice for choosing wire ? I want to change most of cable in my T4500. The 12 awg is between battery and panel control (2.5m).

In my T4500, I use only lights, propane detector and USB charger. I don't think il a good idea to use 12v for the refrigerator. I will desconnect it.

Extension cord is not designed or approved for use in concealed locations
IT IS NOT BUILDING WIRE
Line voltage wiring (120 VAC) should be 12/2 or 14/2 NM cables

extension cord wire will break down faster than regular automotive type wire, I'm thinking you are talking about re-wiring the 12 volt side of your trailer?
if so, what you need is automotive primary wire, sold at Canadian tire, Princess Auto or any automotive parts store, prices vary a lot so call around

Yes, I want to re-wiring the 12volt of my Trilllium. You say to use automotive primary wire. I will. Why primary ?

I want to change the old converter for a new. Install distribution panel. Some fuses. My battery is in a box on the tongue. I want to carry the battey pole inside the rig with probably a 15' 10 gage wire.

Primary wire has more strands which makes it more flexible, less prone to breaking, it is the proper wire for 12v dc applications, available on ebay as well. If you want more information on the changes I made on my 5500, send me a private message, I would be happy to offer my suggestions
