Generator mount

Has anyone mounted a generator on the receiver hitch at the rear of a scamp 19?
One could make a rack simiular to what can be purchased but be cut down to the size of the generator. I think the big issue is weight distribution. The gen I have is about 95lbs.
What did Scamp have on their minds when they put the hitch back there anyway?
Is there a weight rating for the receiver hitch on the Scamp 19?

The best set up for a generator on a Scamp 5er. is to weld a receiver tube (From HF) to the square metal tube leading to the front coupler. Then get an ATV cargo platform or make a platform and mount it over the coupler. The generator sits directly over the coupler and truck hitch.

Eddie, are you suggesting something like this?:

Then mount a generator platform in the top receiver?

No not that. This one. https://www.harborfreight.com/class-...ube-69879.html It was welded to the front angle tube of the front trailer hitch with a support welded under it. The tube is parallel to the upper deck and coupler. KamperBob did this mod. to his 5er. He posted it on his website which is gone now. If you look at his avatar you can see the generator on the front of his 5er. Sorry I don't have any pictures myself.
