Installing a Marinco 30 amp plug in

Because every year I seem to break the pin off my little plastic 30 amp
hatch door, I decided to put a Marinco outlet in it's place. Also my cord won't be stored under the seat anymore that seems to tangle around anything stored in there. My problem is, when I received the outlet, it is smaller in diameter than the original Scamp. Anyone run into this and what did you use to make a trim ring etc?

Mine came with an additional steel ring for larger holes.

A 90* cord puts less strain on the fiberglass and stays out of the way. I converted my old cord into an extension if I ever need it.

Oh I like that idea! I just ordered a new cord to use as my main but I like the idea of not having the excess cord instead.

The unit I sell comes with all the mounting parts including the large metal ring. You use your own cord.
