Is this Battery Good?

I am going to look at Scamps in Minn. I am from Canada and the exchange rate is going to kill me (or I might wait it out) but I will try to cut costs. They quote a battery in the "extras" package. Will this do the trick?

Core Exchange means you have a battery of similar size to turn in. If you don't have an old battery the core deposit you have to pay will need to be added to the battery price.

Most compare deep cycle batteries for camper use in terms of amp hours which are not listed in that advertisement. The amp hours would be the storage capacity of the battery measured as how many hours could it deliver 1 amp of power if fully charged. Cranking amps are for starting boat motors, boats use a combined starter/house power battery. Not a true deep cycle such as a golf cart would use.

Go to Costco. They sell good batteries, and they are not too expensive.

I don't know about Canada but sometimes the battery distributors such as Interstate Battery will have blemished ones you can buy at reduced cost.

Have also heard good things about Costco as an RV battery source.

Your profile says Scamp. Do you have one now or plan to buy a new one?

If you want to see lots of FG trailers in one place come out to St Malo Prov Park on Aug 15, the MB FG and vintage trailer rally runs 14-16.
