Trailer wiring for accessory outlet

I'm a newbie to fiberglass trailering - just acquired a 1985 Fiberstream and had everything checked out at RV place. All is fine except Dometic fridge had ammonia leak. I decided to remove it and replace (at least temporarily) with 110V plug-in fridge. While the fridge is out I decided to install some accessory outlets for phone charging etc. using the 12V wiring already there for the Dometic fridge. This leads to my question:
Is it OK to use this wiring - 12AWG wiring on a 15A fused circuit directly from the battery or would I be better off branching off the alternative nonfused (that I can find) interior lights circuit?

Thanks for any help - I have already found answers to many questions on this forum.

12 gauge is fine for accessories, but I'd pull it from your charger instead of direct from the battery unless you don't have an open fuse holder. If you do take it from the battery I would fuse it in the battery compartment if possible.

Don't drill holes, try custom storage you design:
