It worked out great. I combined the two hot wires on the amber socket so my turn signals are extra bright. (It energizes both the low and high filaments).
You could use the 5th connector to charge your battery
when you drive. If you do it, use 10 gauge wire as a minimum.
Nice! I'll look into getting one of those. I was thinking of maybe going to a 7-pin at some point. Even thought I don't have brakes
, I was thinking the aux power for charging and eventually a backup light
behind the trailer would be nice additions.
I do have one question since I have only done wiring on boat/utility trailers before. Did you put a fuse on the aux power line on the TV side? If so what size fuse?
