Yes, yellow in a 6-pin configuration is for backing up.

Concerning your battery (assuming its located in the trailer), color coding is red = positive terminal and black = negative terminal. The other standard is black = positive terminal and white = negative terminal.

External marine battery with red/black cable wires running into trailer. Black to be grounded to....and red connected to fuse plate I assume. Red tap wire to fuse plate and black grounded and same idea with lights and heater

Black/ground could be grounded through frame, but better to have black/ground wire run from battery back to each load.

Typically a 110vac to 12vdc converter/charger is also included in the trailer. When shore power is available this will power the 12v loads and charge the battery.

Ok Thanks. I wonder if theat's what the metal box is,,,Have not opened it. External hook up runs into the box. Theres an on/of switch outside of box and 2 typical electrical wires running out from either side of box to standard plugs not set up yet...

If you post some pictures of this box at various angles, someone might be able to provide insight.

This is likely a breaker box. The switch is probably labeled with 15, for 15A trip.
