Ok Jim, here is some photo's if you can tell if the batteries look wired correctly. Im not sure, its more involved then the battery setup on my boats.

It does not appear to be correctly wired. It appears the converter charge wires (+ and -) goes to one battery and then back fed to the other. This is not correct. You want the positive from the converter to one battery and the negative from the converter to the other battery. You then connect the battery positives with a cable and the battery negatives with a cable. This makes both being treated as one big battery.

Since when can't one connect both pos and neg to one battery and then connect that battery to the next in the series???

Jim Im not sure. It looks like in photo 3, that they do the positive and negatives connected together but looks like all 4 battery terminals/posts are going off the charger...Im gonna have to ask Chandler what is going on.

I don't see a problem with the wiring, but if the battery hold down strap is original, I'd be a little disappointed.
