casita, can the shower be moved?

my wife an I recently bought a a vintage casita. It is a gut job. we wanted a weather proof tent and fiberglass was the way to go. I have read here that the shower/toilet area cannot be removed without taking the top off the camper. can the unit be moved inside the camper to replace the plywood floor? the floor is all rotten and needs to go. I would like to temporarily move the unit so I can work in that area.
