Help, I need a chicken and a drain flap

Hi everyone,
I'm working on gathering up some parts for my 1978 Trillium 4500 and I have not found the following parts anywhere. Does anyone know a source? The drain flap doesn't look so bad in the photo, but its very crispy. The chicken is holding the level for me. He has a friend on the front, so really I need a pair of chickens.
Thanks, Flat.

You can buy these at any RV supplier, though you might have to look a bit harder for the "colonial white" color. Ditto for the level- I think they even still make the chickens, if you're trying to duplicate them. I don't think they were "stock" on the Trillium, though, if that's an issue.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the link Donna, I use google for lots of stuff but didn't think to use the search "eagle level" - I tried camper level, bubble level, bird level, etc.

Francesca, I'm not so much worried about being original, but when I take the old ones off, I wanted to be able to cover the same shadow that will be left behind.

As for the drain flap, I'll have to wait until I travel somewhere. We don't have an RV store near here. The local hardware store has a few things on the pegboard, but no real selection.

Thank you!
Flat.

Has anybody had luck finding a source for these types of water connections (the connector and cover)? I haven't had any luck finding ones this style. I'm also trying to find these so I don't have to relocate the holes for a new style water connection.

CORRECTION to my earlier post:
I went out and looked at my trailer, and was reminded that (three years ago) when I did the work, I couldn't find the exact drain cover, either.
What I DID find (and install) was a duplicate of the "cable" cover that's stock on the door side of the Trillium 4500.
It's not an exact replacement, but since my cover was missing the door only, I modified and installed the one below by cutting off its innards, grinding off the word "cable", and installing it directly on top of the preexisting frame (original rivets drilled out, new rivets through both covers' corners).
This actually turned out to be easier than a complete replacement, as it saved me the trouble of the re-plumbing and resealing I'd have had to do on a complete new unit.
I found this in colonial (off) white at Camping World in Fife, Washington. I don't see it at their online site.

I know yours currently shows the flap hinged at the top, but does it really matter?

This will work, but you'll have to cut your cutout bigger, and it may not come in the "colonial white" color to match the other hatches on your Trillium.
Everything's "polar white" now.

Thanks for the research Donna! I think you're onto it, and these look much more robust than the little one that was on the trailer originally.

I agree, will have to modify the opening, but doesn't look like a big deal. I'll take measurements tomorrow.

Wow, kinda pricey! Glad I only need one.

Thanks Fylgal. Everyone honorably calls the levels eagles, I'm just sure they're chickens... Do you have any idea what it would cost to get an eagle to pose for the sculptor? Chickens are much more reasonable.

I see these all of the time at several of the local RV stores.

Here is a link to a local store's online catalog for this item:
Camco Fill Spout w/Door
Product ID #: 37102

Thanks for the replies and the links. It shows some of the options we have. Since I've already cut out the three old parts on my trailer, it is going to be expensive for me to replace them. Ouch.

I too found it hard to locate the covers in the "colonial white" color so I painted the ones I found in polar white.
As you can see in the post it would have been easier if I could have just replaced the hinged cover instead of the whole unit
