I need help installing toilet.

I have an '89 Scamp w/layout 6. I purchased a used Dometic Traveler M28-711 Sealand toilet. I want to install it so it has a water supply and a drainage system. I have the installation instructions but it doesn't have any dimensions other than "cut a 10 x 10 inch hole in the floor."
1. How long is the 3" waste nipple?
2. Where does Scamp route the line from the fresh water holding (pump) tank?
3. How is the vent routed?
I called the Scamp Parts Department but they were of little help. Pictures and advise would be most welcome. Thanks, EdD

There are a couple small photos on the Scamp store that may help with placement and routing

Matt... Up in your other post on this forum i posted something that may be of interest to you with a way casita converted these marine toilets with an add on plate inside to eliminates the marine discharge chute.

The following was pics of my installation in 2007 which may be of help to you.

Thanks for the replies but what I was looking for was photos of an actual Scamp install. I'm wondering what route Scamp took to get the fresh water from the holding tank to the toilet. Also I need the lenth of the nipple Scamp used from the black water tank to the slider valve. Thanks again, Ed D

Thanks Bill, This is a spring project. Its hoving here in the mid teens. i'm tring to line up all the parts I need.
You bailed me out once before. You fixed my cube fridge at the Lake Erie Scamp Camp. At that time we had a 13' Scamp. This one ( 16') has the room in the front with a porta potty.
Thanks again, Ed D

Ed if you go to the documents center and pull up the Scamp owners manual it has the water pipe lay out in it. Page 19? The water pipe runs all the way from the water input to around the outside edge of the trailer to the bathroom.

Carol H, That answered one question THANKS, and I'm also happy to get a "paper" owners manual.
Thanks again Ed D

Ed I may have finally got the pictures here.
These pictures are looking down.
The big pipe is the vent and goes out the side of the trailer.
The water line is the pink one but isn't much help.

Bill- Great pictures. The pink water line was a help. I was planning to use tygon tubing but Scamp used PEX which I think would be studier then tygon. Next question, what is on the outside of the vent? I was thinking it had to go out the roof. I checked the Scamp parts store but they don't show a vent cover.
Thanks, Ed D

I guess I'll have to call Scamp. They don't show that cover in there parts store. I just wish there shipping wasn't so expensive. Is there any odor near that vent?

I tried looking elsewhere for that vent but could not find a picture.

I think the smell would depend on what chemical you put in the tank.

That side vent sure would be a solution but like the above poster said "Is there any odor near that vent?".... with a window open in the summer i wonder?..... I never seen a side vent before and wonder if that was a stock installation in that model?..... Going up thru the roof would take just about the same amount of effort as you still have to cut a hole in the fiberglass but at least up top the fumes would be "Up and Out".
The following picture of the tank shows the vent going "up"

Joe,
To answer your question, yes it is a stock installation. The picture is of my 16' Scamp SD 2009 that I bought new.

Thanks for the info bill.... Always try to keep up on things and they (scamp) know a heck of a lot more than me on trailer fabrication (and it's a 2009 model) so i guess it works just fine.
