While at Bolerama, I seen a plumbing trap that looked like this:
It is made by Camco and is called a "Drum trap" or "Camper Drain trap". Does anybody know anything about these? Are they an effective trap. They sure look a lot more compact than your standard P-trap.
This is all the Camco website says:
"
Camper drain trap is designed especially for campers and RVs. Made of durable, chemical resistant polypropylene; won’t rust. Barbed for 3/4" ID hose."
I'm considering installing one of these in sink, using a Y valve further down the line to divert water to either the outside hose or small gray tank I am considering installing. Any comments / suggestions?
