Porta Potti LEAK

Hi all.
Last summer, to our dismay we found that the tank lid on a porta potty in our compact II had a small crack in it. We had converted the large closet to a bathroom, and some of the "stuff" soaked into the plywood floor. The smell that lingers, as you can imagine is most unpleasant. It is not the "human " element if you catch my drift, but more the tank deodorizer solution smell that seems to permeate everything, especially when it gets hot. I have bleached and disinfected and this seems to have handled a lot of it.
Has anyone else ever encountered this, and if so is there any SUPER TURBO SMELL BUSTER that I don't know about that will work? I worry that when it gets hot again It will get pungent!

Were I you, I would call the deodorizer company and ask them. Yours can't be the first time...

I have used them as you would baking soda in a fridge. Really helps to get rid of fish smells. Go buy "Joe's Joe" at the corner store and open the can, save half to make coffee for your pesky inlaws, set the rest of the can in the area. It sucks up the stink and if you really hate your inlaws, you can serve THAT to them on their second week of "visiting".

It only works for certain odors, like fouled meat and ciggy smoke in cars.. , does nothing for skunk or naughty pet odors...have no idea if toilet chems are one of the things it works on, but it doesn't hurt to try.

I better solution to the whole problem. No potties in the trailer of any kind. No leaks, no stink, no problems.

Use enzyme which will chemically breakdown "number 1 and 2". Pet stores carry the product in different containers. I would use spray bottle and keep wood moist for enzyme to have enough time to work properly.

THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR REPLIES! I am going to try the coffee first and if it does not work, the enzyme, then the sealant (I just happen to have the first two items on hand, so what the hey)
I will post my results so that future generations of campers will be spared the dire consequences of a smelly experience and an unhappy wife! (both most un-pleasant)
