Scamp bathroom & shower

Does anyone know what year Scamp added the bathroom/shower combo to their 13 foot floor plan?

They really didn't "Add" the bathroom, it was an option. Just a WAG, but I'd bet that most 13' Scamps being built today are without the front bath option.

Floyd is the expert on this and answered this question a couple of weeks ago. I think he said 2008 was the year the shower was added to the standard. Prior to that you only got a commode and rat fur walls in the bath. When the shower option was added I think it included a holding tank, W/H, full glassed bath, drain and pump.
The Deluxes always had the shower option available.
Like I said Floyd is the expert on the shower dates.

You were right, spring of 2008 was the first shower/toliet combo on the Standard Scamp13.
Prior to that time, it was just as Eddie (A fiberglass trailer expert in his own right) said.

I went back into my "archives". I have brochures from Scamp dating back to the 1970's.
I can only date them by the model of cars and trucks pictured on the covers.
There was no bathroom option for the Scamp13 pictured in the brochure with the 1983 Ranger on the cover.
The next brochure pictures an early Taurus , some K-car derivative (Acclaim?)and a Chevy Pickup Circa 1988+.
It shows the bathroom as an option on the Standard Scamp13 (Toilet only)
So....Best guess? ...Sometime between late 1987 and 1992,
probably 1988 since the new brochure was likely precipitated by the changes in the options. Also this option comes on the tail of the advent of the Deluxe wood interior which was likely the first bathroom offered on a Scamp13.
Scamp history is not easy nor is it possible to be exactly accurate since changes occur when they occur, not necessarily tied to model year.
It could actually be earlier, but not likely earlier than 1987 or very late 1986. Brochure changes usually lag actual changes.

Thanks guys. That info is very helpful. I'm on the lookout for a used fiberglass RV in a compact size for the wife and I. We sold out class A 24' last year and would still like to be able to get out and about with our Ford Escape.

Ford escape depending on the year and engine could be a mighty beast. You may consider Scamp 16' too.
