Nice job Chris! Ha looks like you have the same chip on your back counter wall as I have on my CT What's up with that? But enjoy your new pumped water. Where did you install the pump, just curious....

The cat said this is where the tank will be and the pump will be mounted just in front of the tank. 6 inches of hose from the tank to the pump. I will post a pic when I get it in there.

Unhappy Think about a noisy water pump!

I think that may make it noisy. My old pump sounded like a Semi's Jake Brake until I reconfigured the install when I replaced it.

Installation of a 50-mesh strainer (SHURflo P/N 255) is required to prevent debris from entering the pump.

Good point. If you need to mount it just 6" away, use an extra long piece of tubing and coil it. This isolates the pump vibration.

It's only a 1 gpm pump and the guy that sold it to me said it was very quiet. Plan on a little extra hose on both sides so it can be lifted above the water level for repairs or tank removal if need be. But that's a good point on the vibration in the lines. I hadn't thought of that.

Good idea. I used a switch with a red led in the handle to the same end.

That looks great. High rise faucets can be really handy, wish I had one.
