Toilet leak

I have a 16' scamp with a sealand toilet and it is leaking around base of toilet, it sits on top of the black tank. Is this an easy fix? Thanks for any help.

There is a piece of plastic trim where the toilet meets the base. Carefully remove the trim. Under the trim are a number of bolts. Sequentially tighten them. Do not over tighten. You will probably find most were loose. That should solve the problem.

I see your Scamp is a 1999. It was sold new with a plastic bag of hardware. If that bag is still with the trailer and it hasn't been used yet, there is a spare seal in the bag(part #14 in the diagram below). If it is not still there then Camping World sells Sea-Land or you can call Scamp for a complete seal kit.

On the side with the flush pedal there is the seam. Pull forward on the front half while holding the back. I found tightening the bolts fixed my
minor leak.

It is super-easy, and much less disgusting thank you might think. In my Scamp I was having an odor problem and tightening the bolts easily fixed the issue.

Great thanks for the help! I will give that a try, if bolts don't fix it I'll throw in a new seal.
