Warning sticker enclosed with anode for water heater

I picked up a new anode since our wonderful Florida water seems to eat 2 inches off of the old ones in less than a year. With it was a warning that applies to older water heaters made between 1995 and 1997.
Since I've never noticed the sticker before either I got a real old stock item or they decided to enclose these now.
If this is common knowledge I apologize in advance.

I recall getting a warning on new anodes but they didn't apply to my water heater.

Mine either, it is for 1995 to 1997 water heaters. Normally when I go in they just hand me an anode but this time it was enclosed in plastic. Maybe the plastic wrapped ones have the warning.
I was surprised how fast the old anode went and was planning on getting an aluminum one but they talked me out of it.

The anode is supposed to sacrifice itself, instead of the water tank corroding.
Yours just did a good job. And they are cheap.
