Water tank for Tahlullah

Hello all
Emerging from record-breaking winter in the boler homeland, and projects are almost underway. Can anyone tell me what is the best replacement for my current leaky water tank? Brand or source? And what is a fair price?

My beauty is a 1976 boler 1300.

Saw a great post from 2008 - PDF, w diagrams, with dimensions and stuff...but thought I would dig a bit deeper.

Merci bien

the tanks were made by Polyrama Plastics in Edmonton, Alberta and were still being made up to 2 years ago when I bought mine. The company was sold to Norwesco Canada Ltd.
You can contact them and see if they still make them. Cost 2 years ago was $100
model number of the tank is ERT 8.25 Boler

There are a couple of other options.
Some years of Boler came with the water tank under the dinette seat, I am sure it is a common size that would be available in your local area.

Another option would be what I use, an external water reservoir, easy, inexpensive, you can clean & disinfect it, it does not flavour or add that plastic taste to the water and in hot weather you can add a block of ice so the water is cold.

Some info is on my build thread http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...tml#post399983

More details are on my Blog

I bought tanks from rvdirect.com and dyers rv. No clue what will fit your camper, though.

I was just on E bay looking a Velterra products. I saw several fairly inexpensive ABS fresh water tanks tanks made by them and you can also buy the connector kit for them also on E-bay which they just glue to the tank. The tanks are black in color but are for fresh water. These look like the tanks Parkliner uses for fresh water. The other fairly inexpensive option is buy a Scamp tank, they have two sizes.

How about giving Joe at Trillium in Calgary a shot - he may have something that works for you or a suggestion on where to find.

Umm.... Tom Young owns Trillium in the US. Joe Thoen works out of Calgary. Joe will probably have something.

Actually, I have something, but it is old, and Manitoba is not so close. I will post pictures in about an hour.

One Tank for Free

It is old, it needs cleaning and there is damage to the white port. See pictures.

Also, I think it is designed to lay down. Standing 10" tall, with a foot print of 16" X 17". Since you would want the drain on the bottom.

I think this tank can be modified. Have a port added to the bottom, as it appears in the picture. Probably should add one to the top for a vent. The damaged port can be plugged off.

Boler exterior 10 gallon water tank

I was wondering if anyone has recently found a replacement for their exterior mounted 10 gallon Boler freshwater tank. I would prefer it remain exterior mounted.
Thanks!
