1974 Trillium 13foot

1974 Fiberglass Trailer Made in Canada. This model features opening windows on all sides. Bolers do not have opening windows on two sides and not all Trilliums have all the windows that open.

The back bumper has been lengthened and would permit the installation of a storage box. The frame has been strengthened.

The three way fridge, propane heater, and propane stove all work as they should.

We removed the original suspension strengthened the frame and added leaf springs and a traditional axle with 15 inch tires. This was to improve the clearance very helpful when going on logging roads. The bearings have just been repacked.

All the windows were removed. The trailer was professionally painted while the windows were removed. The windows were designed to be screwed into wooden frames. All of the wood frames were replaced. They were glued in with modern adhesive. The windows were then installed with fresh sealing tape. Stainless steel screws were used not even available for the original. Then proper RV sealant was used around the windows. This vehicle is totally leakproof. Lap sealant was used on the shield above the door, the awning holder, and the roof vent. Some of these items were removed before painting. Once removed this item was taken to Boyd autobody for professional paint job which took eight months. Any concerns they had with the Fiberglas were remedied. They did an excellent job of painting. These are known to be leakproof and this one is especially so.

It was then re wired with three GFCI plugs, a converter to allow 12V, and it has a series of LED lights inside. There is also a hookup for USB.

The original taillights were removed and replaced with LED units. The side marker lights are led. A professional welder was engaged to do the welding for the new suspension as well as for the securing chains.

In this trailer keeps quite warm with furnace which does not come with a fan and is quite silent.

These can be towed by ordinary motor vehicles. It takes a 1 7/8 inch ball. The dry weight is estimated at 1100 pounds. The original water tank was removed to improve storage. It can be attached to 110 V main power with the lengthened and improved power cord. It can be connected to residential water.

There is ample storage under the seats which have been reupholstered.

This is the bunk model which means at one end it has one bed above the other. The upper bunk is on a hinge and was swivel and become a backrest should that and be used as a seat. It can accommodate two children on the bunk beds and it is even adult size.

The other in contains the traditional kitchen unit which folds into a double bed.

I am 6 foot two in height and I fit well in this vehicle both crossways and while standing.

There are no known issues it was a complete restoration.

Delivery might be able to be arranged. I have been towing it with my Toyota Sienna minivan through the mountains of BC without difficulty.
