When you're loaded with water, propane, food, gear, etc. -- how much does the trailer weigh?

Would I be right in guessing the dry weight is something like 2300 lbs?

Thanks.

Casita 17D’s typically weigh 3000-3200# loaded with 400-425# tongue weight. See the thread “Trailer Weights in the Real World” in the General Chat section for more information. Post #297 links to a spreadsheet you can sort and filter.

Dry weight varies with options, and is not particularly helpful. According to Casita’s website it currently starts at 2480# with standard equipment only. I’d guess not much different in 2011.

Actually, dry weight is a measure of the base trailer without options or battery, propane, etc.

Correct, my mistake. I was thinking of UVW, which is what most buyers really want to know.
