you can buy the foam at amazon, Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, etc. Make pattern out of paper to get curve right. Cut with electric (turkey) carving knife. Check out prices. May be a lot more economical. I am having to replace all cushions as I can't get the mildew smell out. Looked at scamp (was told most replacement parts were economical), and looked online. Looks like I will be getting an electric knife.

The upper bunk is thinner foam (3” instead of 4”) glued to a platform of 3/4” plywood in 3 sections. There’s a large trapezoidal center section with two curved wings, joined with piano hinges. It allows the upper bunk to fit into the curved corners when lowered to make a backrest. I think there might be a template (or at least detailed measurements) somewhere on the forum. The “Site Search/Google” option at the bottom of the search menu is the best tool to find it.

It’s a bit complicated to reproduce from scratch. Much easier to find someone that doesn’t want theirs any more. People do convert the bunks into a dinette, so there’s a good chance you might snag one if you’re patient. Expect to drive, as it’s too bulky for shipping to be practical. The front bunk parts and cushions are interchangeable from any Scamp model.
