Need mini camper that fits in small garage

My garage 7' 0" 84" door height is the limiting factor. So far the only options I'm aware of are the MeerKat, Ariba Puck, and maybe the old Cadet but don't see any out there. The Trillium is just barely too tall to fit by about 4" as are the Scamps. I've eliminated the collapsible types like A Liner, Cricket so I'm focusing on the fiberglass ish shell types but not interested in teardrop style since I want to be able to stand up I'm only 5'8" on a good day . Thanks if anyone has another idea, but otherwise holding out for a Meerkat or Cadet to become available. I'm in Fayetteville AR but travel or shipping is OK too.

Boler 13' fit under our 7' garage door frame by letting a little air out of the tires or removing the vent cover.

Our Trillium 4500 also fits under our 7' garage door after removing the vent cover AND putting on 8" wheels/tires.

EDIT: Also requires raising and wedging bottom edge of the garage door above the door frame.

I had a perris pacer and a scamp both without roof air.... I modified the vent so I could easily remove them
Both fit in my garage by raising and blocking up the garage door

If you are good for an older model, the Compacts and Trailswest Campster will fit. They have a pop up section to provide full headroom. My Campster is 6' 6" tall and wide and fits easily into my carport. You will have to give up some of the modern conveniences. They are hard to find but do show up on here.

You can also get small tires the same bolt pattern as the trailer and then put them on only to move in and out of your garage. I have even seen pictures of people who make the tires out of wood. Would probably drop the overall height by at least 5-6".

Hunter Compact II

We had the same criteria as you. This was the right fit for us.

I have a 13' Boler. Get yourself a set of 10" wheels and a dolly. I set the tongue down on the dolly with the little tires and roll her in. I have a roof vent with a 1" spacer to build it up, so I have to take 1/2 the air out of the tires to lower it even further. It still rolls in and out of the 7' garage door. ....or add the roof A/C, or the delta antenna, or the Fantastic fan cover.... or maybe too many coats of wax!

Glad I have a 9ft door!

If you are googling, it's an Eriba Puck. Check out www.thesamba.com for a Puck discussion.

The thing about garage door opening is measure carefully with the door open. My garage door has horizontal support bars on it. So the opening is 7 foot, but the actual clearance is less with the door fully open.

Mid 80's Mity-Lite 72" high. Good luck finding one as they are rare. Last one sold for $10,700

Alan, do not forget the Trails West Campster you had in your garage. (The Campster is now in my storage unit!)

Some pertinent dimensions can be found in the thread,
