We filled the tank first with trailer on, loaded ready go camping and then drove. Filled up as needed keeping track of km's used and L's used the car had the trip km and average fuel cleared as well and it agreed with the math after. The average was 11.4 L per 100 km. Internet puts this at 20.6 miles per gallon US. This is based on more than one trip. We go again on October 3rd for 5 days this time. Best kph trip was the one to Sarnia from Owen Sound loaded lighter maybe? 11.2 L. The trips to MacGregor Point Park are all 11.4 L per hundred.

Hi: made a post today showing the heuer window model used on our 78 boler. Have not seen any posts on these window anywhere.

Will next post the front window it uses 3 types of seals on Jalousie center part that also are different then shown on any repair info found. Even the mech is not the same as on Vintage Trailer site. Have to first find replacements' seals first.

Our car uses 6.7-7.4 L/100 km Toyota estimate or about 6.1 to 8.2 L/100 average real world driving; but goes down to 11.76 L/100 towing average. Going over 85 or strong head wind ouch? The 11.76 L/100 is close to real time average on our most resent trips in the area but that is mostly level ground the 12.5 L/100 is a good call; will keep track of this summers trips as well still have some work to do then will reweigh the trailer to find our current weight. They locked things down again canceled all camping but we have still 3 trips planned they have not cancelled will update with data at that time.

Hi would have sent mileage info but covid kept our camping to two trips to Macgregor park and a trip to private property 2 hours north. Mileage was about 18.8 mpg or 12.5L/100km Longer trip or more trips would be more accurate. We travel light no water in tank also pack minimum at all times. Have rebuilt cupboards adding more wood as needed and the newer hot water tank is heavier than original. In a couple of cases we have paneled over original paneling adding weight also have new roller and awning cloth. The factory original roller did weigh less but the new cloth is lighter arms are original. We have the original trailer order form it came with a roll out awning and arms when it was built but we have never seen another boler with this option factory installed on our travels. We can get info on how to replace roller and cloth to anyone with this option installed at factory.

Found the original options price list for 78 bolers from Ealton Manufacturing Co. LTD also some equipment manuals. This includes the Allanson Power Converter we have and the furnace manual, furnace has been replaced on our trailer.

This summer when making a trip of 2 hours or more will fill up tank in car to top, station across road from where it is currently parked then drive and fill up check L used and give you the data so you can add it want it to be accurate so it is worth while.
Good to have this data for others to make selection of TV and RV

Found out that bolers came with plywood only floors and fiberglass floors like mine. Depends on the factory made in.
