    I just did a good cleaning and rolled it on. The stuff is very thick and the roller sort of just pushes it around. A closed cell roller may make it smoother but it will still come out textured. It was a pain to keep clean so after the first year I gave it a quick sand and painted it with Rona plastic paint that had a high gloss and made it much easier to clean.

    My brakes had bad magnets and I replace the whole backing plates with new> fairly easy, 4 bolts and one wire / side. Princess auto will have them at about $75 / side. I got mine at City Spring here in Edmonton for about $35/ side.
