    Thanks Borden,

Our window cover was broken so we patched it with matt cloth. Then we painted the boler lettering that was embossed in the cover. With all the rock damage that I bondoed and the paint that was stubborn to remove, I just scuffed up the paint and cleaned it real good before applying the rust paint. It took countless hours. It is not perfect if you look close but it is much better than the PO's paint job. They had paint everywhere it shouldn't be. So did I when I was done, but I spent the time cleaning it up afterwards.

Looks just like ours, would like to find a window cover like you have for front some day.
Ours is mostly original some poor repairs to undo yet
Hope to get ours looking as good as yours
We have some paint spots to remove, will fix gel coat then and re polish, the rubbing compound is bringing out the original finish slowly (pale yellow/white) gets a little more yellow with each cleaning

Great work on fixing your 17' cottage, looks great!
