Purchased June 11, 2012
We purchased this 1985 U-Haul 16 ft VT on June 11, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM. The U-Haul VT was purchased directly from U-Haul on May 24, 1990, according to the title, by the lady, who we purchased it from. The U-Haul is all original and in excellent shape. It does need to be cleaned and washed and waxed at a minimum. A few window rubber seals may need some minor attention. The original gaskets around the tail light lens definitely are deteriorated and need replacing. The battery needs replacing. The seller did rewire the lighting harness as the original had worn spots and the lights did not work. Any suggestions or experience with this trailer we will gladly welcome. Not a bad start to a new adventure!
