Side Bath Remodel
Remodeling the side bath in our 16ft 1987 Scamp.
New raised threshold, trimmed door.
Bathroom after cleaning, painting, toilet repair, and shower pan leveling.
toilet with general part labels
Used strips of plywood of 2 thicknesses to support the shower pan up 1 inch at level.
Trimmed the door trim up an inch prior to lifting the shower pan.
Drilled out rivets from shower pan except rivets through the external shell
After cleaning the toilet, it became evident that even bleach can't revive a 27yr old toilet. Paint was deployed.
The toilet spread out for cleaning, bleaching, and repairing.
After all of the toilet/black tank has been removed from the bathroom. Scrubbing, bleaching, and preparing to remove the shower pan.
After the porcelin bowl was removed- on to all the leaking parts.
(upside down) The black tank drain valve with a wax ring protruding from the opening above it. A little leaky.
Bathroom before. Window leaks, shower pan is sloped incorrectly, toilet leaks in all kinds of places.
