Thanks Deryk. The feedback is very helpful. I'll be living/working in the egg too. Weekend camping at best. I live in the South, so AC is a big deal.

FT status? If its full timeing, no I am still working in the real world lol... I wish sometimes though lol

Im overall happy with my ParkLiner. Ive seen the issues that have popped up and they will for all newer products. I bought mine used, was 10 months old used on 3 trips by an older disabled gentleman and I admit I got a good deal on it. I don't think there is much room to haggle with Chandler except dropping options.

Personally if I was ordering a new one today, go with the max air fan because it can be open and be used if its raining outside. If you are boondocking in cooler times of the year I would go without the furnace and install a vented marine furnace on the wall by the bathroom, and have the screen door as a bifold so it would fit. The furnace draws 2.8 amps and is a real pig. Mine came with 2 55ah blue tops...I wouldn't consider buying a battery with less then 100ah... I think it doesnt have enough juice for boondocking needs.

    Hey Deryk,

Trust life is treating you well. Couple of questions regarding your PL'er. I've determined new is about as reasonable as used for a couple reasons and narrowed the choices between Scamp and PL'er, pros and cons for either/both. I'm also keen on ShawnKK ductless mini-split system install. Seems the PL'er is a little better designed for the evaporator install, but I digress.

FYI- this is an off-grid project.

My questions are (1) what have you learned since purchasing that you would change? I ask this because of your FT status. (2) Will Chandler haggle for price or did you buy your PL used?

Any personal insight is highly valued. I'm calculating my power usage, identifying appropriate appliance purchases, etc.
