I found the swivel table hardware online on clearance and it happened to fit perfectly! I cut up a yoga mat for seat padding and use folded mexican blankets for seat cushions. This seemed the easiest, most versatile, way to make a bench cushion that would convert to separate seat cushions. Honestly, the demo wasn't that difficult and I used the scrap pieces of carpet to cover up the rivet holes from the previous wall. I installed a new LCD light in the upper corner using the wiring from the light that was previously installed in the "bathroom/closet". It was super easy! Just have to remember to seal up all the open holes leftover. Hope your build went well!!
Hey Molly! Sorry to have just read this now! Haven't logged onto this forum in a while. The conversion went pretty well. Originally, I wanted to have the bunk bed option in the front, but structurally I couldn't find a way to support it (without financially tapping out). I ended up keeping the wall between the stove and building a small set of shelves in the top corner to utilize the space. I keep all my electrical things there (Goal Zero Yeti power bank, solar lights, outlet adapter, solar power cords, etc.). We ended up building the seat boxes out of wood and used tongue and groove for the top to add to the aesthetic appeal while also making it super easy to create cubby doors that open and close. I had a carpenter friend do that part since the curve of the shell was beyond my skill. Ended up only taking him a few hours.
