Hi, It was not hard as long as you know how to sew. I attached the awning cording to one side and then added a couple of grommets to the ends for a rope.
The most modification was done to the panels I bought from Walmart that I adapted to anchor around the outside to provide walls. I cut them down in size and added to the bottom of the panels to make them long enough. I also put a zipper down the middle of two panels.
