I'm looking for my 1st FG trailer somewhere close here in Ohio. I'm looking for an Amerigo or a Trillium or what ever comes first.

I did look at an Amerigo trailer today but it's a fixer upper and i don't have the time to fix it. Plus the asking price is kinda high :nope

Hi Tom, I have *also been searching my first trailer out, and have found this web tool fairly useful, it lists most of the rv models, and does a pretty good search. You can choose which one to search and it does it for you, you can even pick the state... here's the link:

best of luck to you in your search!! Keep us updated!

April,

This site is awesome! What i've been doing before was jump site to site and search for listings. This would make it much easier :Thanx:

Tom, the info Donna provided helped me become a better searcher, only problem the more I searched the more I wanted LOL..........

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cli...age&spell=1

This link to Craigs list homepage was the biggest help. I just plugged in the word Casita and hit search, any Casitas for sale would pop up. Same with any other brands I wanted....... Takes time the first time, but once you get all the brand names in, you start to type and your computer starts bringing the Brand up, click on it and hit search. Boom you have any listing that has been listed that day. You will be able to weed thru them pretty fast after the first few times. I was willing to travel only problem the areas I could get to fast enough didn't have any for sale or the darn things sold so fast I couldn't even get info, But I never minded looking at all the "brands" that came up for sale. Only problem lately is a scam that seems to dominate the first 3 or 4 pages of listings. Also as others have said, check here daily on the For Sale and the Referrals. Good Luck! Robin

PS, I was just thinking about this the other day, I had posted a Wanted ad on craigslist, never got a reply, wonder if others have any luck posting a I want ad? I say don't waste your time, If I were selling I wouldn't be looking for someone, I would post my info and wait for others to contact me. Unfortunetly if you key your info, you will not only get the ad's for sale, but you also have to wade thru everyones wanted ads.............. And there are more "I want" than " I'm selling"......... Just my thoughts!

Oh and a little FYI................. In Buck62 info that Donna posted it says keep it simple, I agree most of the time, there are a few times when you keep it simple and it only makes it harder. Example- Don't just use the word Casita. you will end up not only with fiberglass Casitas for sale but Homes for sale that have a Casita guest house or Casita (small homes for sale) Same with Burro, you end up weeding thru the animals as well. Scamp........... Can bring up the Old Scamp car's. Cloud's brings up St Cloud the town. So sometimes adding the work fiiberglass travel trailer or just travel trailer to your " Brand preference" makes the search easier. Hint, if you got the time to spend weeding thru every once in a while, I did find Ad's that I hadn't ran across before keeping it simple. Robin
