How to jack up a 13' scamp to change a tire?

I got my new tires and started to change them. Here is how I did this: I put 2 chocks on the other wheel and used the 2-point jack from my car to lift it up behind the wheel, I put a jack stand further back which I extended at the same time in case the 2-point jack slips out. After lifting it for about 3 inches I used that jack on the tongue to get the wheel free.

There is 2 problems:
I am glad I still have all my fingers- the whole things seemed very wobbly and unstable.
My tongue jack is on the left side, when changing the right tire the tongue started to flex noticeably and I became afraid that it bends the frame.

Is there a better way to do this? especially when on the road (I don't have a hydraulic jack and wouldn't take one traveling).
I also use the tongue jack when camping, will this bend the frame after a while?

It's best to have your trailer attached to your TV when jacking it up.
Much more stable and safe.

Maybe you should look into AAA with the RV option, then it's someone else's problem to change a tire along the road. I'm a retired truck mechanic so I have all kinds of jacks and stands, but don't carry them when traveling. The RV option was an extra $20 for me.

+1 and block the opposite tire on the trailer.
