Traveling with Damp Rid
1 Attachment(s)
I bought a couple of Damp Rid refillable containers and they draw a lot of moisture out the camper.

Where I feel the most need is in the big storage area under the dinette seats. They are over 6' long in a Compact Jr and don't get much air circulation. But the Damp Rid will tip over when towing the camper and it's easy to forget they are there and need to be secured.

So yesterday I found 2 nice plastic flower pots at JoAnne Fabrics on clearance for .99cents each.

They turned out to be the perfect size. I screwed them into the floor under each storage area and they should be very secure.

JoAnne Fabrics has a lot more than bolts of cloth and is a nice place to look around, you can find lots of things to brighten up your camper and make it more useable.

Oh that is a cool little conversion! I bought the big box of Damp Rid hangers from Costco, and so far they have worked great in our Scamp. I don't suspect they'll do more than swing when we travel. However, you couldn't put them inside the storage area like that - nothing to hang to. Thanks for sharing your nifty idea!
