Wooden horizontal supports: how to replace?

Any hints on replacing the wooden support at each end of the Boler? They are used to support the table at one end and the top bunk at the other...

Are they wood fiberglassed to the wall? That is called tabbing, and the Google site search under the search link (upper right navigation bar) might bring up some posts on the replacement process if you search for that. Otherwise I'm sure someone that has done it will chime in soon.

They are both fiberglassed into place. if you need to make new ones the old ones can be used as patterns if not some cardboard and lots of trimming to get the shape and then epoxy or PL Builders glue to the wall and fiberglass to permanently mount it.

Roger and Rick, thank you both: very useful! The "tabbing" search gives mostly "cabinet tabbing" results, but I'll look some more and I think it's very "doable"...

Roger, you didn't want to brag about it, but you did quite a job on yours!

It doesn't seem hard but quite a job regardless! I might wait a few months before I tackle that job. I'm not sure how to move ensolite out of the way for tabbing...

P.S.: This video seems useful.

Does anyone have a clue on how to remove the ensolite in order to do the tabbing of the new board?

I used a wood chisel to cut out where I bonded in the bulkheads and cabinets.
A wire brush and drill to rough up the surface.
