Scamp after it went home with the Lasters
History [No longer own]I purchased this completely gutted, former Navy RV from a neighbor after looking for years for an affordable Scamp. She was in bad shape: rotted floor, lots of leaks, missing hatch cover, no insides (stripped down to the fiberglass walls). I replaced the floor and hatch cover, patched the holes, and had some big ideas about rebuilding the interior, but no money or skills! My friends came into town and fell in love with her, flaws and all. She was adopted by them and began a new life as a traveling home-away-from-home for two folk artists and their daughter. They couldn't decide between painting her airstream silver or robins egg blue, so they painted her half and half!
