I removed the "Goucho" back from the bed because is sticks so far out from the wall that it really wasn't that comfy. What was left was a great place to lounge after a few pillows...

Don't know what it is but pretty sure there is no abrasive in it. Just looked up a Cratex wheel. That is not what this is. It is an eraser-like material.
