Winthrop and Twisp are must see areas of WA. Beautiful highways all around, the towns are amazing and lots of great dining and recreation. Try it in winter and summer seasons.

I think paint would add a layer of protection-but would eventually get blasted off. Resin, glass, or undercout could probably withstand the road damage much longer.

Kind of what I thought. I've used it on audio projects myself and like it's dense but workable properties, But it it absorbs resin easily, water absorption would be even higher I would think.
