Thanks for the suggestions, the exact part is available locally around Calgary at Bucars RV in the parts catalouge and is under 10$. The wind deflectors are a good idea but a full set is about $100....

A float charger would be a charger with a float setting? also I am unfamiliar with what a "super charger" is? I guess I just don't know to much when it comes to electricity....
