talked to some equipment people and some farm people in loudon co horse country around here and they said they use this rig locally. said it should be ok for distance but they prefer a safer tow....

i would definately add a trans cooler if its not already equipped. heat is a tranny's worst enemy. also dont use overdrive much if at all. many manufacturers offer towing packages on their vehicles...

i ck'd my 77 scamp and found it had reflect-o-lite 501 lamps. they contained 1141 bulbs, that are rated at 12.8 volt/1.44 amp/18.432 watts. they are also available in 1.6 amp and 2.63 amp versions....
