The Scamp is off to a new home. The buyers have a 20 year old Scamp with out a heater. The wife helped me sell it because wanted the heater & shower. I am sure it went to a good home.

I have never tried that. What I used in scouts was wrapping the meal in foil and placing it in the coals and covering it. Then cook for 1/2 hour. I guess I was just looking for something easier.
