That .pdf is out of date or just plain wrong. NYS law states "passenger car speed". That means posted speed limits.


And anyone that thinks they are driving 55 on the NYS thruway is full of it....

Over the weekend...

NYS Thruway, Friday July 31 at about 2:30 PM. Speed in excess of 70MPH, but below 75MPH. Traffic quite heavy, but no one stopped, so I hope I didn't cause any damage to someone else's vehicle.

I used kerosene to remove all the residue from around the window openings. Cheap, relatively harmless (compared to MEK, at least) and easy to find.

Use a plastic putty knife to remove the bulk of it. Common paint thinner (mineral spirits) will remove the residue. Be sure to use old rags, as they will be need to be discarded afterwards.
