Swagman XC2-RV on Escape 19

Just an FYI. I got the Swagman XC2 to use with my 2016 Escape 19. I am tall so have large frames on bikes.

The Swagman has that center pole, and for me the inner bike actually touches the spare...

That torque depends on the size of the threaded...

That torque depends on the size of the threaded portion of the ball. There are different sizes available so check the spec before torquing

And you can still make those soldered connection...

And you can still make those soldered connection repairs on the road. I have a butane powered portable soldering iron (Portasol brand, Amazon carries kits) that has multiple tips. Very handy.

I use the Aeropress at home and will definitely have one in the future FGRV. You can reuse the filters easily also so a small pack will last a long time.
