For what it is worth, I stuff my foam topper into a giant builders bag and use a vacuum sweeper to reduce the volume. It fits into the original shipping box.

That's a garage sale piece of military surplus modified to what you see.
It takes the place of an AC unit, but is much quieter.

I duplicated the factory top, then cut it at 28"....

I duplicated the factory top, then cut it at 28". That lets me use the original spring loaded leg support. The piece that is left goes in at night so that I don't have to sleep on the floor.

I made a short table to get a daybed to use with or without the tea tray.
It's kind of convenient for those frequent roadside stops.
